The Famous "Weibe-wich"
 
Ingredients:
 
"crusty" Kaiser buns
bacon
cheese
lettuce
tomato
onions
miracle whip or mayonaise
mustard
seasoning salt
flour
fresh Walleye fillets
 
Instructions:
 
Cook bacon to desired level. Remove from griddle, pat dry in paper towel, and keep warm in a covered dish.
 
On an open fire, heat a large cast iron skillet with 1 litre of cooking oil.
 
Slice tomato, onions, and Kaiser roll.
 
Rinse Walleye fillet with water. Coat both sides of fillet with mustard and roll in flour. Sprinkle seasoning salt evenly on both sides. Fry in hot cooking oil for about
5-8 minutes or until golden brown.
 
To prepare sandwich, open Kaiser roll so that it lays flat. Spread Miracle whip / mayonaise on bottom half of Kaiser roll. Cover the bottom half with lettuce, onion
slice, tomato slice.
Cover top half of Kaiser roll with cheese and pre-cooked bacon.
 
Place fryed Walley fillet in the center, close sandwich and enjoy!
