Sunday Morning French Toast
 
Ingredients:
 
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 tsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
3 tsp butter
6 thick sliced bread
1 TBsp powered sugar
 
butter
pancake syrup
 
Instructions:
 
beat eggs in shallow bowl.
add milk, vanilla,flour, salt to the eggs.
beat the mixture, with a mixer. Be sure all the flour is well combined.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. When the surface is hot add about 1 tsp of butter.
 
Dip the bread, a slice at a time into the batter, being sure to coat each side well.
Drop the bread into the hot pan (as many as will fit at one time) cook for 2-3 min per side or until the surface is golden brown. Repeat.
 
Cut each peice of toast diagonally. Arrange six halves neatly and springle with powdered sugar.
Serve with butter and syrup on the side.
